Un paio di mesi fa ho giocato un po’ con Jekyll, e mentre sto seriamente considerando di adottarlo per il mio sito personale, che si aggiorna raramente e non è un blog, ancora non capisco come si possa utilizzarlo come piattaforma di blogging: la facilità con cui WordPress permette di postare in qualsiasi situazione — pur con tutti i suoi difetti — è impareggiabile.
Don Melton (che ha avviato Safari e WebKit ad Apple, anni fa), che da anni utilizzava una piattaforma di blogging statica creata da sé, si è recentemente arreso passando a WordPress per le stesse ragioni:
